Hi Linda,
I thank you for the Happy Easter wishes and wish them back to you.
This could be seen as evangelizing a little because probably no all the writers here celebrate Easter. There are Jews and people of other religions or no religion here. It doesn't bother me. I also had a writer here wish me a blessed Passover in his review.
It is always good to have a reminder of who put us here and what Jesus did for us
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Thank you, Linda! Happy Easter to you too. Beautiful poem and presentation. I grew up in Spain and went to catholic school. Every year I got a new dress for Easter and we learned about Jesus crucified and Resurrection.

and every holiday my grandmother brought us
new dresses and shoes...and we also learned
about the reason we celebrated Easter...

Linda, This is a very beautiful and so true what you have written about this time of the year on Sunday. Our wonderful Savior rose from the grave after He was so mistreated and hurt by so much, but He kept on obeying His Father's will. Because of Jesus we can be born again and live with Him forever. I've been watching my girlfriends 1 year old
granddaughter...and it's a bigger job than I thought
it would be...very time consuming...I have little time
to do a lot of what I would like to do...but she needs the help...and I don't mind helping her...

All of us, believers and disbelievers, we all need the blessings of the shed blood of the Christ. It is not enough that he shed his precious blood on our behalf. The most important fact is that he and he alone was the only one qualified to do so. We owe him everything. Not just our lives, but our very hope for the future as well.
