I feel for you so much, I'm kind of halfway there, but can fake it as long as I only have to walk a few steps. The wheelchair would be a real bastard. The image you have chosen is extremely apt - arthritis should be outlawed! Julie Lau

Oh wow, this resonates so much with me. I too am elderly and am experiencing progressive mobility issues which leave me feeling different from the rest. I try not to mourn my previous self but ultimately it is difficult. Thank you for so skilfully expressing your sadness. Best wishes Debbie

The privilege of growing old has its downside as our bones become brittle and the aches within begin to hurt. Arthritis is a curse and my Mother and Aunt were crippled with it. I have fought it tooth and nail and I am still able to run against the odds! I can identify with your words here, love Dolly x
