I like this little story. I guess rose bushes could be lethal for fairies and such. Good thing Colonel Forest knows a friendly spider. I think in the last sentence you mean send instead of spend. Good luck in the contest.

You are welcome.

This seventy-five-word story, Fairies, has the proper formatting and gives the readers a day in the life for the novice green fairy and her first run in with those thorns.

What a great idea, spiders are amazing creatures, they've even had poems written about them, and inspired victories in battles, but I haven't heard of repairing fairy wings! But this is a prize winning entry in this contest,
Well done, good luck, blessings Roy

A lovely little tale which amazingly you've encapsulated in 75 words. I love the sound effect at the beginning to draw you in and the characterisation of Colonel Forest who's obviously quite blunt but very practical when needed! Neat ending, small spelling error with 'spend' instead of 'send.' Good luck, Debbie

I think you succeeded in telling a cute fantasy story with 75 words. And if you wanted one more word, you could have spelled "ka plunk" as "kerplunk." I'm glad that Sister Spider can mend fairy wings! Best wishes in the contest!
Suggestions:
Well...Colonel Forest, Harumped, "don't cry."
("Well," Colonel Forest harumped. "Don't cry."
I will spend Sister Spider to mend (send)

Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. It was cute and creative. Good luck with the contest.
"What happened to me?" (you can omit 'to me' just move the question mark after 'happened' they're extra words and not needed)
"Didn't I tell you to avoid the rose bushes?"
Well...Colonel Forest, Harumped, "don't cry." (This confused me. (I'm guessing you meant;;;;;"Didn't I tell you to avoid the rose bushes?" Colonel Forest harumped, "Don't cry." & harrumphed. I got 74 words.)
