A skilful write and never be sad over not winning a contest, voters are fickle and sometimes just vote for the first person on the list without reading all the poems, it is really down to luck, a lottery win, your poem is well written, perfect rhymes and metre and deserves to win, good luck, love Dolly x

I love this and there's no chance you're lacking the skills. Coincidentally I've been thinking, myself, of how frustrating self-expression can be sometimes and wondered if I might try to write a poem on the subject. You've beaten me to it very successfully. I also like the refrain moving down through the stanzas. Best wishes Debbie
