What a great story of hard work and comradery that we just do not see any more. Getting replaced when you are on the ropes was a dick move, but, as you said, it gave you an opportunity to feel the importance of relationships.

Thank you, Bill, for reviewing, but especially for understanding. One up for the little folks, though. They had to sell a building for the first time!

Sounds as if you were a busy person. Good to have friends in the Corp world. I was in a federal building for a number of years and I know the score. Good post.

Thank you for reading.

Your jobs were a reflection of who you were then and are
now, Yvonne. You had an awesome work ethic, and the
employers, for the most part, knew it. You were dependable
and trustworthy. Your stories on jobs you've had were fun to
read. The jobs seemed to vary. You expressed your thoughts
and feelings well about each one. That was amazing the way you
handled all those phone lines accurately without missing a beat.
The company which ended up having to sell their building was
payback for the way they treated you. When those tenants moved
put and relied on you to help them, showed how valuable you
were.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I enjoyed reading this. You certainly had a varied career. This job was certainly different from driving a school bus and subbing. It's amazing you on your own could handle the calls for so many tenants. I thought you might have worked in your experience with an answering service more smoothly. How mean of them to replace you while you were in the hospital. There must be protections in place so that doesn't happen now. I like that the company had to sell building. You make all this information sound so interesting. judi

Thank you for a wonderful review. They did that to others. One family lived on the storage unit property. The husband had serious heart issue, and the son was mentally challenged. They were told on Wednesday to be out by Friday!

You have worked a very multicolored and eclectic group of jobs. I couldn't hack it in an office setting. It was too boring and too regimented. Have spent the majority of time in creative and retail. I am enjoying hearing about your jobs. Keep them coming. Gretchen

You have such a beautiful attitude about that unfair termination. You got to see how many true friends you had and I'm glad that some of them still kept you working even from home. You have had such an amazing work history and of course, you're amazing and those people knew it!

I love reading you biography. Only a very tiny person could tolorate having their weight be as low as eighty pounds. Lupus isn't an easy thing to deal with. I had a company let me go because I was sick too. You apparently were the reason so many people were renting that building. Without you there they found reason to leave and with no tenants they had to sell. I had a lot of jobs too. It helps when a workplace becomes like family. I'll look forward to hear about the funeral director job. That is a switch. , the everyone teased her about being connected ( you don't need "the")

Thank you for such a nice review. I'm so happy you like this. I feel I do need "the" before Genovese family.
-
I guess I was seeing things because I saw the word "the" where I'm now seeing the word "that". That works fine. If you didn't change it, I must be going blind.
-
No, you're not. I appreciate you looking out for me.

You are an interesting person, and I am glad you're sharing this with us. I love your stories.
I'm proud to say I never lost or dropped a call. (I'm impressed I tend to drop a call on my one and only phone.)
The mediator would even look at the glowing letters I had from my form tenants. (wouldn't???)
