Oh, Debi, I love your Health plan and all these wonderful medications that you have reminded us of. I am glad that these help you when you are not feeling well. And I love the paragraph: "The only thing better is knowing that all of these are pleasing to God, as I believe these are really His plan."
How many times in the Scripture, He reminds us to rejoice and be glad? You are certainly on the right track.

This is a great 'diet' plan, one that each of us can use safely and effectively. The photo is great. I think being silly and having fun with our grandkids is the best way to cure whatever ails us. Thanks for sharing. Blessings. Carol

This is a lovely post and great advice! You are inspiring and this comes at a time when I need a little inspiration. It is tempting when one gets to the stage in life where I am, to lament on the things I can no longer do or do with ease. Over the last few months, when I start feeling sorry for myself, II start listing all the things I can still do. I can walk on my own. I can talk, see and hear (if not well.) I can cook and take care of my personal needs. I can drive. I could go on and on but you get the point. It is a blessedly long list. I think if I add your health plan, it may get even longer. Thank you for the tips.

Oh Mary, I don't know you're age, but I am 68 and half of those things that you named I cannot do, but I should add two more things that really help me. My mother used to sing the song to me. I count my blessings and name them one by one. And that is pretty much what you just did.
And altho it is rare, if I do have a pity party, I only invite Jesus. He won't let me stay long, and he is always a safe ride home to a place where I need to be. You are awesome my friend and I am add your attitude too.
Thanks for the wonderful review and comments and the wonderful you!
God bless!

You are so welcome. I printed you post so I could read it when I started feeling sorry for myself. Bright Blessings to you, as well.

I enjoyed it a lot, especially the part about love and compassion. A lot of good messages throughout. Yes, I am the silly, crazy, fun, laughing Nanny, as well, and I too experience that side effect of fatigue!! Excelllent writing.

Wendy, I always knew you would have to be the best grandma too. They are truly the best medicine in the world, aren't they? Thanks my sweet friend for the awesome review and comments!

Did you ever see the movie where the patient had his own staff get comedy movies for him to watch to heal. There was an ironic situation where more & more patients came to his room & were laughing and feeling so much better. A nurse ordered everyone back to their rooms & reminded them they were sick...blah blah. Good job.

No Liz, never saw that one, but I would love to. If you ever think of the name of it, let me know. Yeah, isn't that just like the medical world to remind patients that they are sick. When I think of how many times my doctors have been given money by big pharma just for giving me something that might help.... or any of us.. I love your review, and info.. you truly get it. Thanks my very lovely friend!
-
You're very welcome. I will see if I can find the name.
-
It wasNorman Cousins. Here is an interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOyCfBk-LRI
-
Thanks,Hon, I will check that out! 🤗
-
There is the real movie, but you'd probably have to watch it on an underground movie link. I have one if you want me to check it out.
-
I'm not sure what an underground movie link is, but if it isn't any bother, it looks like a film I would like.
-
I'm checking on the many free sites to see if any have the movie. In some areas, they are kind of illegal. That why I call them underground. FB won't let me put it on for anyone to know the link.
-
Of you know the name I have hundred to chose from on my smart TV apps
-
The Man Who Laughed in the Face of Death or possibly
Anatomy of An Illness or both
-
Awe, Thank you Liz. I will let you know if I find it. It kind of reminds me of a Jack Nicholson in one flew over the cuckoo's nest.

If you could bottle these and offer them without a Dr prescription, you may have solved many of the problems that exist today.
Great stuff and it's out of your comfort zone (the writing style, not the content).
I enjoyed reading your post. It made me smile.
Cheers and be happy.

It sounds like you have hit on the correct dosage of some very powerful medicine. I think it might not be so easy to overdose. I'll bet your grandchildren think you are awesome.

I'm so glad I still have a six considering all the super posts this weekend from less frequent/missing writers. You made my wish come true and you made it even better than the glimpse you gave me on email. This is a precious post and deserves to be Story of the Month!!

Helen, I can't thank you enough for your sweet comments and your lovely gift of six stars. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you so much, my dear dear friend! Also I changed that line
" to make the whole line feel better! It did feel good to try something new? Terry has been after me for a long time. So how could I turn down two of my favorite people down?

I was so happy you posted it. And now you blessed everyone who reviewed it! So proud of you!! 💖💞🎵

This should be well in your comfort zone, Debi, for you've written a charming prose piece! Big Pharma would hate you, for you'd cost them lots of money... Truth is, there's not a lot out there better than self-advocacy. We learned as children that "Loving is Sharing" and holistically speaking, this is absolutely true!
Here's hoping all of the above are nudging you back into your healthiest possible state!

Hey Sweetie, you are precious! Thank you for such awesome comments and for the lovely review. You my dear are so sweet and I appreciate you more that you could know. Please take care of yourself. I worry you don't fall and get hurt again. I don't leave home for anything but for dr visits and will have tow this week. Ugh! But I had to cancel last week. So now I just don't feel strong enough and that doesn't count. Lol
-
I'll be careful if you promise to do the same. Much like you, I'm limiting my "outings: (except for a few sanity-grabbing scenic trips around town)-to only the necessaries. I did love your prose piece!
