Great chapter. But I am surprised that Candace was allowed to go out, and especially take the baby with her, as it is common for the baby to be held hostage, to make sure she returned. Looking forward to more.

The kidnappers sure want to conceal what they have done, don' they? But this lady wrote it down, every word. So glad that there are some scenes where they get hand cuffed and spend the rest of their lives behind a prison cell.

Wow, how did Candace know Tommy's name? Was he wearing a name tag? Or maybe Patience already visited Candace? It's good that the taxi driver is on their side!
Great job with this as you are showing us the mystery is unraveling with this abductee who was able to reveal herself to Tommy and Willa!

Name tag and badge. A working on-duty officer has a badge visible, on a lanyard or in a see through pouch on the outside of their coat, jacket, bomber, for all to see. I think we watch the ones on TV that flash the badge in a situation more often than the other. Also, hospitals require an ID badge if you are there for more than a brief period. Tommy and Willa are on duty at the hospital waiting on coma guy. Thank you so much for stopping by. Sending you my best today as always, Helen dear.

Now that Candace has befriended Tommy, who will poison Gaston? Of course, if he is brain-dead anyway, it probably wouldn't matter ... to Fee or to the police ... unless .... And so continues the narrative. And I will be waiting in the wings for the next installment.

So, a victim has surfaced and isn't dead as everyone supposed. She should have some nice juicy stuff to convict those men in her book. Tommy and Willa are going to have a great day bringing them to court for their murders.

Oh my oh my, I am actually shocked that Candace got to even go to the hospital. Knowing that she may try to flee fee. Lol... but he is desperate to shut up Gaston.
I am going to go back and read it one more time, to make sure I didn't miss anything, because I love this story so much that I would not to miss the smallest piece of information. I had to read kinda fast, cause my grandson, goobs will be here in a few and he hates when I don't give him my all. So I may have lots more to say. But I love the intrigue. I don't want to just read it once. I have read all of them three times, just in case. It's like scraping the bowl of your favorite meal, so you don't miss a thing. This knowledge must sink in for your next story. I am your biggest fan, and also this story's too. So great, awesome writing like usual. I absolutely love it. Can't wait to lay back in my bed and read it again tonight.
Thanks for the best entertainment ever. Love it!!!

Thank you, Debi dear. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It is developing into a real thriller. This is a pivotal chapter and I'm so glad you are all in. Thank you for the super stars and compliments. I am truly honored and blessed to have you as my (biggest) fan!! Lucky me!! What did I do to deserve that? I'll keep writing! :)))

I must applaud you for the proper use of "whom" in a sentence. I can't tell you how often I see "who" used inappropriately.

End of the sentence that begins "Yeah, Doc Stuart . . ." Add the word "me" at the end for "the captain told me."

"Just text me when YOU'RE finished" instead of your.

Maybe because I was a little late coming in on the story, but how does Candace know who Tommy is and that he's a detective?

This is so engaging, Sal. There's good and evil and happy and sad and romance . . . Can't wait to see what happens next!

Thank you for the excellent review and kind help. I?m glad you enjoyed this chapter. You?re got me again. Dang.

As for Candace knowing Tommy?s name, it?s on the badge. Full name, rank and division. Typically Detectives in the north wear it outside their coats, jackets etc, when they are on duty. Tommy?s been hanging around the hospital waiting for coma guy to wake up and wants to make his presence known.
    Sending you all my best,

This is another very good chapter in The Aspen Grove Murders. I was quite worried that Candace would be prevented from taking her baby so that she could safely escape that rat. I look forward to the next chapter.

Well, that was a very dramatic piece, especially some parts. I especially liked the part about the angels and Patience. A lady with a sword is about as sexy as it gets. I haven't followed your story, so I had to connect a lot of dots (I hope I connected them properly), so there are a few things that I'm sure I didn't fully understand, but all in all it was an interesting piece and very dynamic.

Poor Candace, it couldn't possibly be nice, being held against one's will, and trying to act out feeling that one doesn't have, but along with Parience and the detective Thomson she will be OK, this is beautifully written Sally dear, blessings Roy
