Thanks for the tour of Italy, BEth. It sounds like a beautiful country. I think I have seen some of it in different Movies in the past. I'm sure it is even more beautiful in reality of being there. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. So happy you missed the earthquake. Love Nancy:)

Thank you Nancy. It does seem to more amazing in person but I'm afraid I'll have to see the parts of the world I've missed in movies. I see to have passed my traveling days. Sometimes I have trouble traveling one room to the neXt LOL

room next ours. (to ours)
I enjoyed our journey this morning, Beth. You did an excellent job of describing the different areas and making the reader feel as if they were walking with you. It's strange how most people think of Italy as being the "home of pizza" but it's nothing like we would imagine... I too prefer ours.
Well done!
Always, Carol

Elaine and I stayed just outside of Assisi in 2005 on our way to catch the ferry and on to Croatia and Eastern European self conducted trip through Yugoslavia to Bulgaria, through Rumania, Ukraine culminating in St. Petersburg. Assisi was beautiful with many tourists, we saw the Amalfi coast in 2015, it's great doing this trip with you Beth, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy. You've traveled through a lot of the world. I'm glad Assisi had been restored to its original beauty.

It's interesting how different you and Joy have grown apart from each other, as she wants to stay in denial while you, and the couple from Jacksonville, are concerned about the present and reality.
This shows the advantage of being on a tour, because things do happen and it's nice to have someone who knows how to put a back-up plan into action.
It all sounds lovely:-)
First sentence: room next TO ours.
Should "states" be capitalized, as it's short for the United States.
The sentence where you talk about "You and I were accustomed, and then we were ready to move on" - I would use "are" here since it is a continued practice. Or you could just say "Americans are accustomed to . . ."

Thank Pam, I appreciate the review. I glad you are pointing out things you find so I can correct them. Yes, Joy and I have common interests, but I'm still noticing differences in our way of thinking.

Thanks for sharing about how the trip continued. I'm so glad you avoided those earthquakes! And my parents did go on a Europe tour and said the same thing about the pizza being better at Pizza Hut. Lol.

Thank you Helen. I appreciate your continuing to review. I hope you post more of your father's story and I hope your wait will soon be over because it is like being left in limbo. You need closure.

Stunning turn of events. Devastating earthquake's aftermath vividly rendered, as are the magnificent sights. I'm with you as to pizza. I like lots of cooked sauce and extra cheese on a doughy crust.
Brilliant!--It was situated where the shoelaces would be in the boot of Italy.

Yes. I love visiting Italy. We stayed in an ocean front airbnb in a small town three miles from Sorento called Massa Lubrense. That's our Amalfi Coast tour and Capri tours starts. We walked to Sorento from there and really enjoyed seeing all the lemon trees and olive groves.
We didn't make to Assis. Have to go there again.
Well done.

Thank you for the review. I was facinated by the nets under the olive trees to catch the falling fruit. Italy has a lot to offer a traveler.

The trip and its scenery are definitely worth seeing; did you ever go and watch the bulls run? The fellow who lost his father seemed very saddened by the unexpected news. You are so far away and making arrangements for a flight out is difficult.

I think they have these show bulls at Italy, too. At least I thought so!

Bullfighting is already banned by law in many countries including Argentina, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Italy and the United Kingdom.

I like this idea.
Sorta like a Bucket list lost and found by the window.
This was well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.
