Sounds like you guys had a great time. I have been to many European countries. Londen is nice. I found Paris dirty but it was eleven years after the war and still remolding. I still travel on Roku. LOL. Well written and very informative. Thanks, Beth for sharing your trip.

Thank you, Carol. We all play the hand we're dealt. You may travel the world yet. Who knows? It was beginning to look as though I never leave this country either.

My world was to care for my family and to achieve other dreams and for that I am thankful. Any more I feel it would not be safe ... even out own neighborhoods tend to scare us at times. I am content to live out my fantasy through others. Smiles, Carol

I think the narration flows very well and is quite interesting. If we consider this in the point of view of leaving a tangible legacy to future generation, then it's really good. On the other hand, if this writing has the objective of being published, there are some work to be done in terms of sentences structure and words choice. I also a few grammar issues here and there, but as I said if this purpose is only for the children to be privy to the parents' story, then this writing is great.

On the other hand, if this writing has the objective of being published, there are some work to be done in terms of sentences structure and words choice. Thank you Mario. If I self publish it, it will be for the purpose of having copies for my family and close friends. Of course, I would perfer that it not have structural or grammatical errors, so I also appreciate when others suggest corrections.

We've been to Italy on two separate occasions, including Rome which is a fabulous place, theTrevi fountain and the Spanish steps are quite something. But the most interesting off all the sights to see were the incredible ancient Roman ruins, thanks for Sharing this great post, well done, blessings Roy

We've been to Italy on two separate occasions, including Rome which is a fabulous place, theTrevi fountain and the Spanish steps are quite something. Thank you Roy. I've been twice now as well. This was my first trip out of the country except for a short one into Canada.

Indeed, I was out for a walk through my neighborhood and overheard someone's television - turned very loud - talking about the death of Diana. I went straight home and turned the news on myself.
I'm also currently watching the latest season of The Crown on Netflix. What an unhappy time her marriage to the royal family was.
This sounds like a marvelous trip, and I look forward to reading more about it. I like the way you set the timeline with an event that gives us a sense of the date/time.
As always, well-written and engaging.
