This is getting better all the time. I find it hard to believe that I'm hooked on a crime story. You do such an excellent job with the dialogues and descriptions that it carries me along. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I am flattered and grateful. I think my style tends to weave more stories about the characters within the story than I do about the crime itself. Thank you as always for enjoying it. Finished with another chapter, just trying to get enough $$ to post.

Thank you, Barbara. I am enjoying writing again and that means so much to me. Knowing that others share my enjoyment is even a greater pleasure. I like to keep the reader guessing. LOL

Just waiting for John to die. I know that sounds terrible, but he's in a lot of pain.

You've thought of the perfect explanation for Frank O'hara's philanthropy, affectively good money, recirculated affectively in helping others, a middle man for God's goodness. Which is what we all should be, I love the way you arrange your characters, good but imperfect protagonists, bad antagonists, is to see their motives, but leave a way out for them. Well done Carol, blessings Roy

Thanks so much, Roy. I like to believe there is good in all of us if we dig deep enough. Unfortunately, some would prefer to skim the top regardless of the outcome. The doors always there if they want to open it.

Yep I agree, knowing how I am, both propensities exist in me, why not others, I try to quell the bad in me, and release God.
