That is a clever way of putting it. I've had no goblins in the twenty years I've lived on this mountain a quarter mile off the street, and if I do any gobblin' at Thankgiving time in won't be on a won't be on turkey gobbler. Those birds are safe from me. I don't even cook them any more.

This is an extremely amusing and apt play on words. I enjoyed the wicked sense of humour you displayed here very much. Thanks for sharing this concise post. Kate xx

A wonderful play on words with 'goblin' evolving into 'gobbling'. I like the format too. I'll take turkey and cranberry sauce anytime over a bag of candy.

Forget about ghosts and goblins, give me the platter filled with some of the best food I will consume all year. Candy may be dandy, and liquor may be quicker. The food from Thanksgiving, could make your waist band thicker.

Haha. I see the one letter difference between "goblins" and "gobblin". Why did you put a " ' " in the end of the "gobblin"? Is this a piece of prose or poetry?

Well done.

The apostrophe replaces the missing G from gobbling.

Lol. I like the pun of "goblins" and "gobblin'" down that Thanksgiving feast! That also means the year is winding down. I hope you have lots of fun autumn gatherings with your family!

That is brilliant, Bill. The Goblin, and gobblin' This one has to win, my friend, it is perfect. The Goblin that comes with Halloween, and gobbling up the food the next month. That is just so clever. Well done, and good luck! :) Sandra xxxx
