I can't help but be concerned about all those loud talking men in the bar. Particularly the one with the diamonds buring a hole in his pocket. Half the city is likely to be chasing him. He a thief so he doesn't matter, but those gems are getting scattered and whoever the rightful owner is may never get them back. NIcely written.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for continuing to read and enjoy the story. You put a smile on my face. I appreciate your time and your thoughtfulness.
Sorry for the delay but we have just had our 7th death in our family and close friends this year and it's taking a serious toll on all of us. Thank you for understanding.
Apologize for the standard post.... Hugs, Carol

Benny's saga continues, but really, telling and showing the diamonds to his dad is one off the stupidest things one could do, seeing they are technically heisted by real crooks who wouldn't hesitate to kill to procure them again. Meanwhile Emmy an Hank are lusting after food. Beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

Bennie is really in it now. I can't see him getting out of this one. There he is telling his dad to keep quiet, and then he goes and blabs his mouth off! Dead man walking is right!! Wait till Lance finds out. But the funny thing is, if he's just gone to the police and showed them what he'd found, and the letter from his dead, former client, all this would be fine! But he had to bring Benny into it, and Benny had to bring his father in, in the middle of a crowded bar, no less!!
At least Hank is doing okay! Lol. Well done, my friend, another wonderful chapter. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

I enjoyed reading. I am glad Hank and Emmy are on the case. It's nice seeing how they met. We know the rest. LOL Thank you for sharing.
Bennie tilted his head away, Clearing the air with his hand. (lower case 'c' needed on 'clearing')

This is another great chapter you have penned. I especially like the last part and the talking between Emmy and Hank. Maybe something good will happen between them. But what about those diamonds and his dad. If his dad is drinking, he might just spill the beans to the wrong people. Great job my friend. Can't wait to read the next chapter! love and blessings, Teri
