This is a beautiful poem about leaving the painful past behind just like the autumn leaves going down stream. The painting is very colorful and dynamic which made me think that the painting inspired you to write this poem.

This captures the pain of separation in a relationship whether because of death or end of mutual love, but just as the leaves let go of their leaves in autumn, there is a season of letting go of past hopes and dreams.

First of all, very beautiful. Love the background and art. Simple yet effective, I can feel the loss. The autumn leaves are the signs of transition..the leaves falling, being carried away downstream..gone forever, have to let go. Very well done.
