I would say all the bad things had been forgotten with the good news about the cash settlement. Wow! Things were definitely looking up from that point. Well done, Beth. Nancy:)

Thank you, Nancy. It was good to have something positive to say in one of my chapters. My kids had been conspiring to drive me nuts so it was a relief to have something good to report.

Hi Beth, I'm so glad you're back with the story. I have been missing it. No, I can see that the year of 1996 was a mixed bag, but also some very good news.
but she they needed the money more. = a word is missing in this sentence.
I'm looking forward to reading on. Ulla:)))

Thank Ulla, It is good to know you look forward to reading my story. I hate so much of it sounds negative because I don't remember being unhappy during those years. I've often said I'd like to do it all again, but actually I think I'd want to skip 1995. That was a bad year all around. Thanks for pointing out the spag.

Again, thank you for sharing your memoirs. I know I said it before, but I enjoyed reading and I know your family will appreciate you writing them down. Good news about the settlement.

I find it is easy to follow the story you did a good job in telling all the events and at times I feel like reading a daily journal.
The settlement came in handy. It certainly can change one's life.
God bless the family.
Thanks for sharing

Thank you for the review and comments. It is a bit like a daily journal. I did keep one back then for a while and I refer to it for notes.

I think what you are doing is a wonderful idea. I bet your children will appreciate reading about your life when you are gone. I'm finding this very interesting an intend to keep reading as you write. Nicely done.

Only one grammar point, Para 8 or 7 if not including your note - line 1 - more earlier = earlier. We all, if we're honest, look at the bleak side a lot. The circumstances you are describing are factual, and is difficult other than to let your heart go out. Memories written are pathways to the future for others. Keep writing.

Thank you for a great review. I think a lot of things I've written lately did have been a bit on the negative side. 1995 was an especially bad year for me because my mom died and I had to give up my job and become a full time care giver for my crippled dad.

We can only use writing as an escape , and enjoy. Stay well.

Beth, I'm so sorry to learn that you lost a daughter when she was 2-months old. How heartbreaking to learn that it was from a vaccine. It relieved my stress somewhat to learn that you were awarded some money, but I know that no amount of money could make up for the loss of your baby girl. A very poignant read.

Thank you Ted. It was our first child and terrible at the time, but we had four more, and it was so long ago. It is lingering sadness, but you work through what you have to. It never occurred to us to sue at the time, but years later we learned many more children had died and the vaccine company acknowledge responsibility.
