We're supposed to have a full strawberry moon soon. This poem highlights the beauty of a summer moon - leaning in to whisper sweet nothings in the breeze. Lovely imagery.

says it all. I like how this author describes the moon leaning in and
whispers sonnets to the breeze - a lonely image! The artwork is

My haiku are not good, but I know good ones when I see them. This one is excellent, conveying a lovely mesage about the moon through personification and metaphor--and a good dose of delightful whimsy.

in a contest for that reason--even a haiku about the moon.
Also, the use of bewitching isn't something that can be
seen. I may be out on a limb here as all the reviews say
differently. I maybe misunderstood, but will not lower
rating because of it.

This is lovely, Melissa. That artwork is bewitching in itself. This is almost an ekphrastic haiku. I can feel the presence of that moon as it leans in to whisper. I like the imagination that went into this haiku. You definitely put me in the moment.
