Being a dairy farmer's wife for over thirty years, I do know what an udder is. I put lots of milkers on them. I milked cows by hand when I was younger too. Your story is great and well-written. I look forward to seeing where you go with this.

The way you described feeling apart from the pain is something to which I can relate. I enjoyed this installment of the story. I could almost feel the bitter cold. Thanks for continuing to share.
