I can't even put seeing this in words. Stephen King. Carrie. The moment I saw it it sparked something in me. Granted of course Stephen King is someone's work that I can't describe.
But why 6 stars one might ask?
I share exactly the same story. The exact same one. Never in my life did I think I'd write. And especially horror. Until people like the likes of Junji Ito, Stephen King, as well as a slight bit of Lovecraft came into my life. Best of luck to you. That's all I can say. I wish you and your journey all the best. Good luck!! And have the best day. Much love.

Thank you! You have made my day!

This poem caught me as a fellow horror/fantasy nerd. My first favorites were horror novels as well, and to this day I still relish the genre more than any other, so to hear that expressed outwardly in someone else is cathartic. I'm a fan of Stephen King too, and in the same way I also took up writing because of my love for horror. That's what it is at the bottom for many of us, I think; we don't love the act of writing so much as we love the special genre, series, or author that got to us first. For that, I have to give this poem it's due consideration. I enjoyed the overall message of this poem, I think the verbiage is sharp and the tone brusque and punching, forward. I'd only say that some lines were clunky, and there were places where I would disagree on grammar choice, but otherwise a short, sweet poem. Thank you for writing and I hope to read more from you in time.

Nice response to the writing prompt. Very interesting that your muse was initially Stephen King's Carrie and then the TWilight series. Well done and good luck.

You thoroughly reiterate your point throughout this piece, and it's nice to hear about somebody inspired by the darker side of creativity - exploring the taboo and the macabre. I very much enjoyed the read.
