I like this poem - it's perfect for the upcoming holiday. It's not political at all, just states reasons why we should honor our vets.

Your entry read well, BN. The use of the colored font
was notable. Great job with the rhymes, the smooth
flow, and the message. I agree. If not for our brave
men and women, we would be living a total different
life. Freedom is not free.

Very nicely done. Our men in uniform put their life on the line to protect the home front. Offer them a meal or a drink or a cup of java(coffee).send care packages to where they are stationed they appreciate stuff sent to them.

I am fresh out of sixes, but you really summed it all up in this poem. Without our military we would soon be gone. My Dad also served in WWII and wouldn't talk about it. My husband served in an elite unit during the Vietnam conflict, and he doesn't talk about it either. The sacrifices they make are indescribable. Good luck in the contest.
