Well done. This was entertaining with a pleasant thread of humor and a glorious explanation of your curious name. (giraffe+manatee+gorilla).
And, I applaud you for having the guts to speak the truth. There is, indeed, one person on FS that needs their fingers hammered. Once, after I presented ALD with a (generous) 4 stars, they immediately returned the favor with a one-star rating and some nasty words. I'm not sure how they are still allowed to live here, BUT I made myself feel better by writing an angry poem about them, lol. It can be found in my portfolio if you care to read it, entitled: "A Little Darkness" (ALD).

I am going to pop over and read that! lol i love it. I do that occasionally and it's a good creative ay of dealing with it when you're too far away to use a hammer!

There's is a reason a chose the name of my TV show. honestly, people would not believe the things I've done. It would read like a total work of fiction. I've also been in Emmerdale and The Bill... socialised with Mohammed Al-fayed and been to the palace a few times. i also punched Will Carling (England rugby captain) in the face for being a complete arse. he didn't get back up too quickly either. I was also at the Henley Literary festival in 2015 or 2016 and was seated with Peter Davison (Dr Who!) and Jeremy Paxman during the event - I'd reached the short list for some competition or other. lol
Having worked for charities in England for over twenty years, with kids, you get to do a lot. lol
Liam Neeson's sister was my maths teacher and I looked after Dominic Cooper's cousin...
I could on but I'd be bragging... lol
And yes... very sore heads. I haven't had a drink for about nine years now, but I'd make an exception.

Wow, you really must write this down, Gareth, why waste it? I realise I now have to bow to you before I review you, having been to the palace a few times, as well as meeting up with all those famous people. You punched Will Carling on the nose!!!! LOL! I would really love to read your life story, it sounds amazing. xx

I've had a good time but no one would believe me. I have tonnes of photos and stuff but these days you just get 'that's photoshopped' even when it's not. lol
