It looks like Vito maybe smarter than anything that Garth and co. Can throw against, and it looks like it's time for option 2, or plan B, seeing Sam has left the place with her. What's going on? Well done, blessings Roy
Typo : (My bad)? 2: Allie(d) lied through her teeth. 3: and spoke a (decimal) louder. Decibel? 4: the ball(')s in her court.

Yikes! I knew I was stress, tired and shouldn't post, but I did and found I made a mess. Thanks for pointing out the errors - They are fixed with my apologies.

Vito has had eight years to plan this and he wants it to be quite the production. He also is able to land on his feet when he discovers there might be a rat in his cupboard.

    Thanks again - Carol

Things have gone from bad to worse - they all seem to be in even more danger and no-one can predict Vito's plan, or what he will end up doing! I thought it might all come to a tidy conclusion soon, but there are more twists and turns yet. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Wendy

Oh dear Wendy, you know this girl can't possibly make an ending easy. LOL It's not in my nature I guess. But the ending is near, just not quite that simple. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.

    Hugs, Carol

Oh no! Now Sam is in trouble and Allie was just the lure to see if anyone was following and protecting her so that Vito would know if it's safe. Seems like layers upon layers of intrigue. Hope Marian has things under control before Vito gets home!

The webs we weave!! Yes, Vito has had eight years to plan his production and he's making the best of it. Not to mention he's a very sick man!

Your review says it needs much needed improvement. I'm confused - is that the story or the character list?

    Thanks for the time....

Hello,
Enjoyed this beginning to your story immensely. Loved some of the phrases like: "Looking dynamite in sequins" and "I was already fantasizing about our evening together."

Suggestions: soft "thank you" since she said this aloud.

question mark after, "You think you will need them?"

You switched POV when you said, "Garth's throat was tight ... ect." The same thing happened when Garth radioed everyone. Maybe a separate paragraph?

I wasn't sure who said this sentence-"I don't care what he's got." Is this Allie or someone else?

I get the impression you are having fun writing this. Often, this rubs off on the reader too. Keep going!

Thank you so much. Forgive the cut and paste but I am so far behind with showing my appreciation to everyone. Please know it is sincere. This story went in a darker direction than I originally planned (maybe my life got caught up in it) but as we draw closer to the end, I am thrilled that you have continued to follow and enjoy it.

I hope you have the best of holidays. Hugs, Carol

This chapter is exciting and it's full of action. My heart was beating faster when Allie walks toward the fountain. It's not easy to catch Vito. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Well done.

I'm getting dizzy! Just when I think I know where you are going, you take a side road. Brilliant episode--the suspense is excruciating! I'll be back--ASAP.
