I enjoyed the beginning of your new book. I love that it is picking up from Secrets in the Wind. It's neat to already know some of the characters. Hope you are having a great day!

Well, that just like a criminal. How dare you send me to prison for committing crimes? Like movies where crooks want revenge against the police for catching them.
I guess those pictures will come back later in the story. Good job setting things up in a believable way. Even the passcode is realistic. We don't change them.

Wow! We are off to an exciting ride. I say "we," because you put the reader in the middle of your stories with great descriptions, emotions, and detail. You have built the suspense so that in one instance we think we know what's going to happen, and in another, we can't imagine what's will happen next. It's going to be wild, but I'm going on this roller coaster with you.
There is one word you might want to take a look at. "stilling"
"Yeah, I started down the wrong road at nineteen, and I'm stilling traveling it.
See you in the next chapter.

How come all the bad guys are usually Italian? I mean, I'm just wondering, but it really does seem that way in everything I read. If I weren't openminded, I might start thinking that all Italians, are wops, dagos, and damn fools. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Forgive me please for my poor display of gratitude and appreciation. I truly am grateful for all your time, your review and your thoughtfulness. I'm struggling with life and I apologize for neglecting your efforts. I am weeks behind in responding so I must at least cut and paste a thank you and hope you understand. I am thrilled that you have taken the time to read my story and to enjoy it.
Smiles, hugs and much love for all the support.

Well, I read 2 before I read this...just like me! This is great. You have drawn me into a lifestyle scenario beyond anything I will ever know - and I love it... fantasy, dreaming...imagining...wow... This is great and I salivate for more!!

Carol,
Wow. I'm so proud of you. It's stunning that you are already up and running with another story. But why are you getting these published, my friend? That's where you're supposed to be right now!

I know but life has thrown me a gigantic curve and my dreams of publishing are on hold while I struggle to hold my family together. Thank you so much for your kind review and thoughts.

You don't come up for air! Off and running with a bang, bang, bang of exploding "whipped cream" cans on the "drunk woman." These characters are chilling. Gripping. You had me at "wild weekend."

Writing is my salvation and air at the moment... When I am gasping and going down for the count, I try to write. Hopefully, the story won't be hindered because of it.
Thanks for the review and kindness.
Hugs, Carol

This is a great beginning to another book. It sounds like it's going to be quite a ride, so I'll fasten my seatbelt! Lol. Thanks for the helpful character listing. Hope you're doing better these days. Blessings and prayers. Carol

Hello - and thank you for reading and your kind review. As always, I am running far behind because life keeps dragging me down. I hope you continue to enjoy this story - don't fall off!
Take care, Carol

This looks like being an action packed story - and Henry will have all the evidence of this particular crime on his camera - but probably won't realize. Looking forward to the back-story - why she was murdered, and of course the eventual solution, doubtless after lots of intrigue!

Poor girl was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I think. Crime finds its solutions in bad places and doesn't seem to care who it drags down with it.
Thanks for the review and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

I wondered what happened to you Carol. Is there light at the end of the tunnel yet? Great beginning to this story, you always throw in a good beginning, I've read stories in the past that started slowly, and nearly got discouraged, but they warmed as the story, yours get into the warm up very quickly. Well done good seeeing you again, blessings Roy

It's darker than a Halloween story, Roy... but I am still trying to keep my head above water.
I like to draw the reader in with a big bang and hope that I can hold their attention as the story moves forward. Guess that's why i have so many twists and turns.
Thanks so much - Carol

Pouring yourself into writing keeps one a little sane, mine always leads back to God, yours too.
