That's a really great picture. The snail being being covered in the rain by the mushroom. Well done as always. Unexpected blessings are the best! Hope you do well in the contest.

I am so interested to see how this poem will fare in the contest. Personally, I think it is exceptional. Your last line makes it for me. It's simple just like your showers of blessings. Don't they call that 'form follows function'. It's a technique seldom used and more often overlooked by readers. Maybe the judges will see this message, huh? Hope so.
Sweet poem with simple truths. Good luck in the contest. Hope I'll be saying I told you so.

AMEN!
If only we would learn to enjoy and love the little things as much as we thrive on the major productions of life.... we might live a calmer and happier life. Well said!

Very well said, it is little things that make the biggest difference, your beautiful photo shows exactly that, as your words extend to all mankind, an excellent 5-7-5, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Clever play on showers--apt title for the theme--variant form versus just repeating the line of the poem--wise words elegantly expressed--fine work for a short form!

The perspective conveyed in this 5-7-5 poem resonates well.
It is most certainly the little things in life that add blessings to our lives.
Nicely done.

This is a short piece that speaks volumes. In life it is the little things that count. Blessings do not need to be grand. I love the artwork you chose. Well crafted poem for the contest.

And there are so many little things. Yes, indeed, we are showered with blessings. The morning sunrise and the evening sunset. Spring regrowth and summer warmth. The trees that become masterpieces in the Fall.
You've got it right!
