I see you captured both the essence of nature's wind and spirit wind. The wind of God's Holiness is blowing even now. A wonderful truth inside your poem.
Sending you my best today for this lovely work,
Sally :))

Ah, what an interesting history you have! Liked your poem, you expressed the wild nature of the wind, blowing where it will. Live in Wyoming, one of the windiest states in the USA.
Neat analogy, unseen but all around us, like the Holy Spirit.
Have tall Cottonwood trees all around us, the wind gives them a distinctive voice, different from the huge Willow tree in our backyard.
Good work,
irish

Hi GUDBJORG
Well, thank goodness for wind otherwise we wouldn't be able to breath, :)
You poem is quite lovely and flows beautifully throughout the poem.
I do like a windy wet night as I lay in bed waiting to sleep. Kind of reassuring.
Take care, Pete

Thank you so much for reviewing my poem and I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed it. The wind has so many forms we can't really comprehend them all but we can always enjoy the beauty that they create.

This poem about the wind, Wild Wind of Love, certainly brings in the sense of being caught up in force that is welcome and irresistible.

Thanks for your review. At least this wind is constructive and not destructive. Being caught up in it is inspiration itself!

This poem speaks of the presence of a wind that cannot be seen, but can certainly be felt.
The Wild Wind of Love is an effective title that reinforces the spiritual theme that is represented within the piece.
Nice job.

An uplifting and joyful poem about wind. The poem is creative with many
descriptive words. I felt like I wanted to experience the wind. The poem
flows and connects well. Thank you for the author's notes - they speak
volumes. Hope you had a great day!

Thank you for your insightful review. I love to feel the wind or hear its whispers of encouragement, love or guidance as I go through my day.

Oh yes indeed, the wild wind turned up in the upper room that day and changed the course of history forevermore, Jesus used it as a metaphor for the miraculous to Nicademus, and now it's what excites you in this fine contest entry, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you for your review that hit the nail on the head! It's so special to feel the wind and hear it whispering words from the heavenly realm and know that He will never leave us comfortless.

The wind--it blows wherever it pleases. We cannot tell where it came from or where it goes (paraphrase of scriptures). Your lovely poem expresses an appreciation of the wind.

Thank you for your kind review. We can?t see it but we can see the effect it has on anything it touches. So much like God?s Spirit! Of course, the words 'Spirit? and 'wind? are interchangeable in Greek.

Imagine if wind could speak the tales it would tell of all the places it had been and the people it met along the way. I think that would be great. I am sure we could learn a lot. Thank you for sharing.
