An interesting anecdote, yes indeed, God indeed watches over us, He cares and loves being involved in everything we do, even in functional wheelchairs. You've really had a chequered walk concerning your health, and the same with Louise, but your diligence and forthrightness is refreshing, well done Geoff, thank for sharing, blessings Roy

An interesting post from a fellow Aussie. We have a foster son (although he is now 39, and I am officially his guardian) in a wheelchair. I can fully identify with your difficulties - it is never easy going anywhere by public transport in Sydney if a wheelchair of any sort is needed. As you say, God's hand at work in that it didn't happen the day before.Thanks for sharing.

Praise God for that and thanks for the lovely review. I could write reams of all the times God has been looking out for us. Even having the lady to yell out to the slack staff to get us off the train!

It's always good to catch up with old friends, but travelling seems to be quite a challenge for both of you, these days. Good to hear that the rail staff are generally so obliging but a drama for you when things go wrong. I wouldn't like to have to push one of those electric wheelchairs, they must weigh a ton.

Yes mate very heavy. her time out of her chair was such a battle as the manual chair, while not old is not real comfortable. Thanks for coming by.
