I don't normally read scripts, as I've said before. But, when the setting helps me visualize the surroundings, and the subject matter is so touching, it's an absolute pleasure. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Ric, for reading something you weren't sure about. It's a compliment that you finished it and was impressed enough to award it a six!

This is very interesting. The dialogues both poetical and prose have a very romantic effect. The name Jay makes me think that this at least some part of it is autobiographical...I will definitely read the next.

Yeah, I go after old ladies, lol. Wait! do you mean the grandfather Jay? I hope not. He's dead. Thanks, Sanku for your observation on the romance of it.

I can't wait until scene 2. I hope you post it so I can read it and not during the week when I'm not on. You already know I am a sucker for romance. I need to know what happens next.

Freaking modern day Shakespeare! But better! I am choked up and teary-eyed after reading that. Maybe I need to go take my meds? Ha! Seriously, this is awesome. I have no words. Thank you so much for sharing.

OMG, this is the most enthusiastic review I've ever gotten. Put May 29th 9 PM (LA time) on your calendar. That's when it will post. There are a few twists and turns in that last scene. And don't forget the tissue. God! A six star reward! Thanks again.

Hello Jay,
I don't know how you write such intriguing scripts. I see the conversation turning poetic in many places. This style is new to me. I find the style quite creative. Reading it is a learning experience for me. Good luck!

Jay, I have to say this is a deeply affecting scene as Jay takes this lady up this treacherous climb to see what inspired poetic words from a romantic past. It is definitely a play to be read, I feel, as the narrative would require a lot of mind reading on the part of the audience. I guess the storytelling and characterization of how and why the actors are speaking goes beyond what a viewing audience, at least on a stage production, would infer.
I love the dialogue and the emerging story that is coming together as Bett engages with Jay.
I am definitely compelled, even if I didn't already know the continuation will be supremely satisfying, to eagerly anticipate the next installment.
I am enthralled with this intimate moment with these two people talking from two ends of a lifetime that has been lived without knowing each other.

You amaze me, Bill. What I love about your reviews is that they can't be faked. There's evidence you've read every single line, and a number of them between the lines. Your six was an added bonus. Again, thanks my friend.

I love your new script, even i you say you wrote it, in part, before. I don't remember it from earlier, so it's new to me.
You take two poetic and deeply feeling characters and drop us into a slice of their newly merged lives.
It is intriguing and moving. I'm glad you decided to share it.
Coincidence on the name Jay??

Take care,
Rhonda

About the name ... I don't know. I don't think it was a coincidence. Although, be it known, I wouldn't take any old lady 50 years my senior galivanting in the mountains. Wait! that would make her 130... Bless you for the sixer, Rhonda!

Just wondering on the name, hehe.
It was a nice story and I enjoyed it!

You'd better! Come back no later than May 29th. That's when the next, and final, scene will post. Thank you, Jodi, for the six stars. That means a lot. BTW, are you doing some writing on Medium? What's your handle there?

Bless you, ALCREATOR. I was surprised this would be a genre you'd read, but so glad to be wrong. Your words are very complimentary. There's no substitute for experience and I've been at it for more than 65 years. But it still makes me warm inside to know I've moved someone, especially to the point of giving me a reward of 6 stars.

This, my man, is extremely well-written and entertaining. I feel like I should be sitting at the Globe theatre, drinking cheap wine and eating some sort of foul meat on a stick. Your patois was spot-on and the stage directions were clear, and added to the scene. I would love to read all of this!
