This is a gret addition to your book. I enjoyed reading from beginning to end. I feel for Katherine trying to everything by herself, and needing help all the time. I continue to enjoy your font choice and use of space.

Gabe to the rescue again, but I think Miss Independence it's opposing less resistance since is for a good cause. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

Thank you for the kind review. There are still may pieces to Katherine, that we don't know and yet to discover.

Hi, Barbara. I don't know if any other of your readers has told you that it's starting to wear a little thin that Katherine is forever accusing Gabriel of butting in on everything. With me it's just a niggling thing and I'm not sure another reader would mention it to you. As a writer, I want you to know how your writing affects me viscerally. Now ... just about the time I was feeling this (sometime in the last chapter) Gabriel had to throw the lie in my face by entering without anyone giving him leave. Hearing the children bickering wasn't reason enough. Also, he could have walked in on a delicate situation with Katherine parading around in her underwear (the things people do when it's only family around). So, he was dead wrong, and I wish he hadn't justified it.

Anyway ... your chapter today was, as usual, very entertaining and enjoyable and I don't want my comment above to be misconstrued as an overarching concern. I guess I just want them to kiss. LOL.

He scanned the large sorted piles clothes. [... piles OF clothes]

I have added the missing 'of'. There are many pieces to Katherine that will eventually discover. You are right about Gabriel entering, but his butting in will come to be a good thing. Thank you for the kind review.

Hello Barbara.Wilkey,
Nice piece of Romance Fiction having lucid as well perfectly matching the theme phraseology, captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, and beautifully depicting its theme.
The story, slowly but steadily, is moving onward in an interesting way exposing Gabriel and Katherine beautifully.
Flawless, and Enjoyable!

A great episode Barbara, you've created such a great character(s) in Gabriel and Katherine, she is feisty and is determined to make it on her own, and Gabriel's determined not to. He walks in on the two younger boys fighting and sorts it out, then fixes the machinery. Could they need one another? Well done Barbara, good scribing, blessings Roy

Barb your Football Chapter 10 part 1
Is so true of how boys can be. I like the way you are slowly getting
Katherine and the Gabriel getting to liking each other.
(sounds like there will romance soon will be brewing between Gabriel and Katherine?)

barbara:

The more people read this, the more they should realize it is not a
nook about football (as you have stated); rather it is a book about
people who happen to be involved with football. I am really enjoying
the dynamics between Katherine and Gabriel. One typo noted below:

With tears running down his checks > With tears running down his cheeks

This work has reached the exceptional level

I am loving the way the story turns each and every time I read the chapters. The Hulk did all the damage... sounds like something my little sisters would do or say, lol. And I think Gabriel is doing more than just pushing into her life. I love his dog, Reggie, and I love this plot. Can't wait to read the next chapter!!!

Barbara,

Since you said that, I WOULD like to see a scene where SHE gets to rescue him in some way. That would be fun. And she wouldn't be able to argue against his help as much, knowing she had barged in in some way, too. haha

Thanks - nicely done!

Getting settled takes a lot of effort, but with a little help, it is doable. Gabe has a great way with kids. I like that he didn't pick sides with the two young boys and listened to both sides of the story. In he comes again to save the day. He needs a white horse and a suit of armor. Or maybe not. He is doing fine without them.
