I'm thinking you're not capable of anything less than 5 stars. This is a sassy and fun interpretation of the prompt. I like the double entendre of filling stockings - as it applies to this hot cracker - and it's obvious Christmas meaning. Well done!

One can get in such trouble with language. I had no idea that cracker could be a derogatory term. Amongst UK service personnel the term US stands for unserviceable. But it caused a lot of misunderstanding during WW2 when American troops based in UK on run up to D Day complained bitterly about the Limeys who declared that anything that didn't work was referred to as US!

With this picture, it is definitely party time. Nothing is wrong with that. After all it is Christmas. This year, it may be a good idea to have a two person party instead of a big party.
With a two-person party, "Christmas party girl
filling stockings, popping corks." Again nothing is wrong with that.

Thanks for reviewing. I explained in the author note that 'cracker' is positive praise in Australia, not derogatory.
I hope she is enjoying a party in New Zealand, where we don't have to wear masks and can mingle freely.

But... it's super on a few levels.
Just the basic meaning and play on words...
Then more subtle ones, you may or may not be aware of:
the pops.. ah did you see Pricilla Queen of the Desert?... ping pong balls....
And Cracker in the southern States can be a certain 'type of social economic political segment of the population, in slang '....,

Thanks for your terrific review. I'd already put an author note underneath to explain some of those meanings. I know there is a big difference between what us Aussies understand by 'cracker' and what southern USA meaning is (apart from the obvious Christmas cracker that is pulled).

I see.... a true linguist! You could probably cope with New Zealand English as well then. I might write a post introducing some Maori words we use on an everyday basis sprinkled in our English.

I'm sure the "hot cracker" must have multiple meanings. I get the "fills stocks" has two meanings. I can guess the "pops corks" but I do think that second line has only six syllables unless you pronounce it differently.

Thanks for the syllable catch. I mucked around with that middle line but now i've fixed it to be correct. I've also added an author note to explain the Australian usage of 'cracker'. It is not derogatory like it could be in USA; in Oz it means terrific, great, or wonderful - something positive anyway.
