Barbara,

Uh oh. Now, he's lost his job. Not only did his son NOT get the vacancy, but now the dad is out of work. PERFECT. I'm sure he'll take that wonderfully well - no worries, whatsoever.

EEK!

Great chapter and Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!

I like the the main female characters you choose, they are as bad (.in a good way) as the strong but sensitive males you have in your delightful, fiercely independent, but yet lacking a strong male in their lives. I don't think Gabriel is just a jock either. Well done Barbara, blessings Roy
Typo : Katherine stopped in (her) tracks.

Hi Barbara, again you've written a great chapter, and i'm beginning to think that a couple of men are now fancying her. She's only widowed six months. Is she really ready for a new romance? It normally takes two years to get over a loved one. But who knows. I like the story. Ulla:)))

Katherine didn't really have a marriage. That will come out later. Thank you for the kind review.

Finally! We won't have to worry about him anymore... and Katherine may be coming onto how Gabriel's a lot different than other guys. I just can't wait until you start describing him, and for the next chapter!! You have a blessed Thanksgiving as well! Stay safe!

Was this a tad short? A great read and glad Frost has been removed. But will that stop him? Will he be charged with anything? I feel it would be justified and I hope the order against him works. Keep up the good work. No spags.

I'm not surprised that that Paul is getting rid of Frost. He seems a very dislikable person, but I suppose they must have needed a math teacher pretty bad. I don't think he will take it well that he has lost his job. He will probably still be a threat. Katherine is starting to look for another side of Gabriel. Maybe he isn't as arrogant as she thought. I'm enjoying your story and looking forward to more.

Gabe had jolly well better back off. He'll only lend fuel to the rumors that Frost has been spreading. Doesn't it take longer than that to get rid of a teacher? Frost will probably pursue all his legal actions. He may be more of a threat to Katherine now. Paul might also warn Gabe about getting too cozy with Katherine. I'm eager to see what develops. Great characterization, and I see lots of possibilities for conflict developing since Frost has lost his job. He'll really be on the warpath. Happy Thanksgiving. We're trying to stay safe by staying at home. judi

It usually does take longer to get rid of a teacher, but Frost crossed that line. Thank you for the kind review.

You're welcome. When Frost make himself a case the called for police intervention, that must have sealed his fate. I'd like to see a new romantic interest for Katherine. Gabe will only complicate things for her. judi

I somehow don't think we've seen the last of Frost, there is something wrong with that man. The way he went for Katherine from the first moment she started says there is more to this that we know. I can't wait to find out. Well done, Barbara, another excellent chapter. :)) Sandra xx

The last time I read this story, I got angry at that guy Frost for running his mouth when he should have behaved. I see this wiggling its way. LOL. Good one Barb.

Another well written chapter. I like that everyone's character is defined and they stay true to they are.

An idea: At some point we will need to know why the coach likes her, after all for a man to be this interested in a mother of four, there has to be a reason and we aren't given one. He's just there. Like a nice Mr. Frost.

"Because arrogant jocks, don't have feelings."
-we've heard this inner monologue from her before. But her son plays football, so it seems weird.

Good writing.
