So many wonders of our world to be seen and experienced, and so many of us stay too busy with other things that most miss the chances. I hate it that someone who loves everything around them is losing their sight, but thankfully you are spending time to enjoy everything you can, which most will never do. God bless you for your heart and spirit!

Hello Sally, lovely Cube 16 written in perfect form and so well worded. Your author notes - so sad - 'I'm nearing the end of my eyesight.' Those words are unbearable - they make the following stanza so relevant -

The sky's a blur,
it's hard to say,
if I will see
them anyway..... Love your pictures, both the meteor shower, and Vincent's 'Starry, Starry Night.

Lovely overall work Sally - a usual. Much love Dorothy xxx

An excellently done cube poem, I like the way the four syllables make it brisk and flow so easily.
My eyesight is slowly going despite the surgeries and I understand only too well the joy of what we have now

A very well-written heartfelt cube 16 about losing the ability to see is a great loss in the life of someone who loves to read and write. I was taking my glasses off this morning for a moment and realize I cannot see a word written without it.

Lovely and lyrical Sally! I love the night sky too, and it's so neat that you have a telescope! What a nice thing from you hubby! And I didn't know you had eye problems...I'm so very sorry. I have cataracts and fear the surgery...someday I will have to go. Please be well and happy! Hugs, Susan

I adore the sentiment here Sally and star gazing can indeed make us feel free of time's restrictions with a sense of self awareness and how small we are in the scheme of things. (HEAVen) trips the meter up here Sally, Perhaps: "and Heaven's mine" would work better, love Dolly x

"Sometimes....., I See The Stars!", is an extremely well-written, and delightfully descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill, it was a pleasure to both read and review, this talented poet's work. I look forward to seeing
your next post.

I will first address the reality of your life. I'm praying for you to be able to let go. Now your poem: This poem has many literary techniques. The one that creates the poem is the juxtaposition. So many opposites. Yet they coalesce in the end. It is true, be all sense an urgency to put pen to paper in our vision and imagination. Well thought out.

This is a fun type of poetry. I may have to try it. I'm so sorry you are losing more eyesight. I have often wondered what I would do if I lost my sight. I'm so lazy, seeing is about all that motivates me. I admire you so much. You are an amazing lady. Love ya, Rox

Heartbreaking and heartwarming--last glimpse and making the most of it--before I read the note I assumed the line may not see any applied to stars not being visible anymore due to bright city lights. Lovely piece--poignant closer.
