I know a few people with the same fear. I like the presentation with those scary eyes and then your poem to go with it. Well done and I would say your dogs are lucky to have you!

All the dogs I have had through my adult life, I have just treated like a member of the family. No kennel or crate, no commands, just talked to them. My mom has mentioned that I always have the best dogs. I told her it?s because I?ve never treated them like dogs. Let?s face it, there are some days we like our dogs more than we like our children! Thanks for the nice review!

I agree with the fear. I had a cat and they can quickly just lash out and scratch. My Aunt's cat would hiss at me when I was a kid, it was terrifying! Good flow and rhyme. Good presentation. Thanks for sharing.

I changed cats to cat so it would rhyme with the fourth line. Thanks for advice and review. Terry

And it's hard for ailurophiles to understand but I know that cats can be scary and I wonder if one scratched you when you were a baby and you still remember it. Thanks for sharing and you can avoid our cat column posts. Although the cats do welcome questions from dogs.

I don't like them much either, but your are right about the felines being very popular here on FS. Brave girl to wade in those waters... I am glad you like your dogs!!
