Your piece is a struggle for finding peace and God amid your own internal strife.
As with most searching, there are discouragement, frustration
and indecision. There are so many distractions that often lead to losing focus on a desired goal.
But in the end, always a change of heart and surrendering to His will helps in the transformation.

Your poem really speaks of the great journey to seek out the peace that only God can provide. Your words bring out the emotional path we take.

Soul searching is good for you, it makes you a better person in the end. Keep looking my friend, you will find yourself, God already knows you. xsx sandra

That kind of soul searching always eventually leads to finding! Don't give up and harbor only positive thoughts as the Christ lives in those!

A nicely written plea for the presence of our God , and for the absence of the devil. To look at the devil one must have God standing with you. Apart from my own thoughts, this is well written, reads well and the passionate plea is portrayed well.

The message of a struggle to find God is an epic theme of humanity. Basing this on 'Pilgrim's Progress' was a clever idea and largely it expresses your emotional/spiritual journey with passion and clarity. Poetically it has a couple of glitches (eg the overly long line in the second last stanza) but voerall reads smoothly off the page. I hope you found your peace.

You have described well the journey of someone searching for God. It can be a lonely journey or one that is rewarding every step of the way. A nice, positive ending.

It does tell the story well of someone who has made the choice to find himself this way. The road appears hard but I can not but wonder. Are the hardships self made? Thoughtful work.
