Divorce is never a pretty thing. It is usually the children that get hurt the most. They are left wondering what THEY did worng. The poem flowed well and had the darkness you set out to achieve.

Thank you so much for your generous review and specific comments. The divorce has been awhile ago and it is with time one can see the great healing. With warmest regards, Sue

After reading your notes this poem really took on new meaning. You have crafted in a very artistic and unique way. It is something to be read and remembered. You should feel a lot of joy from this accomplishment.

Will, I only just posted this and must say I had absolutely no idea how it would be viewed, as it is most certainly not a pleasant subject matter (especially after my "sweet" innocent last 3 poems- ha!!). Thank you so much for this very generous review and your specific comments! Regards, Sue

Your poem sounds like a divorce implosion and it actually is. It is imploding from the inside out. It starts from ground zero and up from there. Divorce is horrible and I hate it. I am going through one myself right now. Fortunately my kids are grown and gone from the home.
