I'm amazed at how easily you write the scenes back and forth in time. I enjoy the cozy feel when your family is together. I like the way you get everybody busy doing research to learn more about the story in an effort to get the issue resolved. I'd crumble and not get the job done myself. Good writing, my dear.

Aww, thank you, Joy. It's been fun doing this and learning at the same time. I have four more parts to write before those magic words 'The End' come. I've already got a plot for the third and final plot. :) Thanks again and humongous hugs! Sandra xxx

Hi, Linda. How come you manage to get into their minds and know what they want to do? Make whoopy? LOL, LOL, LOL!!! Thank you so much for reading my story again, I know you've been in another world for a while, but it's nice to see you haven't lost that wonderful fun sense of humour. :) Love you too, dear friend, take care. moment I left was quite disconcerting because so much had happened to me in that blip in time ( I wonder if 'blip of time' sounds better?)
We didn't have to wait long before the school bell rang, and the children came yelling and laughing into the playground. (Should it be 'onto the playground?)
Great chapter with a hint of the resolution to come. I hope poor Franco's life gets sorted.
Sorry for the short review. Not feeling well.

-I like the beginning, especially the
final comment of the committee.
-It is nice to see Ver. back home.
-It is wonderful that Michael will
be his usual little boy self now, and
Ann is bubbling over with excitement
about being in the school play.
-It is nice to see Mildred will be a part
of things now.
-With her family around her, Ver. now
has the support of the people she loves.
-A good ending, and a good chapter, Sandra.

Thank you, Pam. I decided it would be nice to have a balance of home and away, it keeps Veronica focused on the job she has to do. With James and Mildred to keep her grounded, (especially Mildred) and being there to help her in the research, she'll be fine. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part, there wasn't much going on, but it has to progress naturally to be as believable as this type of story can be. I really value your thoughts, my dear friend, you've always been so kind, I just hope you know how much I appreciate you. Thank you so very much for the 6 shiny stars, you are wonderful! :) Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars, review, and thoughts, Sandra. I agree that there needs to be a balance of home and away for Ver. It is nice that it happens to be the right season for her to be home. I just thought of that🙂 Here's to the holiday season and a special friendship.

Hello Sandra,
An excellent return to "reality"
to remind the reader there is also a This Time
Plus an interesting twist in time as no time has elapsed,
this will also make it much easier to deal with the present.
Looks like detectives V and M will return again
to delve into the past of Jacob Argall.
Your romance readers will enjoy the return of James
with the nice little tease at the end of the chapter.
It's interesting how the chapters seem to end
just when things are always getting interesting. lol
Excellent chapter in the time - that time conundrum

LOL! You are so funny, Robert. I realise that many of my readers have to keep an eye on their blood-pressure, so I have to cut it short. :)) Yes, Veronica and Mildred are hot on the trail searching for more clues as to where Jacob has gone. Thank you so much for another lovely review, and for all the lovely stars, too. I won't be posting another part until after Christmas, so unless I have one from you to read, I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a brilliant 2018. Biggest hugs. Sandra xxx

Once again I completely enjoyed reading your story. You have done another good job.
She sat down beside me and Michael wriggled from her arms and reached out for a cuddle. (You don't need down, it's understood)

Hi Sandra, the readers interest is held by the magnificent detail and family politics. Truly believable we realise only at the end, it is fiction. Veronica is shown as a warm hearted lady; giving the story a nice soft edge to it.
Once again I can find no errors.
Have a merry Christmas and the best of good fortune for 2018.

Veronica's investigative life, going back and forth in the past, has to be tiring. For one, the grinding to get information can erode her physically as well as mentally. It is good she has a supporting cast, Mildred, and her husband, around her.

I totally agree with you, Phillip, James and Mildred being there to help is the one reason Veronica can go on. She needs their support and she gets it in sackfuls. Thank you so much for reading this part, my friend, and for your thoughts on the story. Big hugs, have a wonderful Christmas! :) Sandra xxx

Bravo, Sandra. I know how hard it can be to move a story forward, and you have become a master!
It must be a huge relief to know Michael is no longer taken over by Joe, and Veronica can move back to her problem saving mode. I loved that the 'powers that be' appreciated Mildred's lovable saying - I know we all do!
Hugs from France,

Thank you so much, my dear friend, for the lovely 6 stars and wonderful review!! Being a mum,. I could imagine how Veronica would feel, i think most mums could. I have to admit, Mildred is my favourite, I know I shouldn't admit that, but I think most authors do have a favourite. Big hugs, my friend, :) xxxxx Sandra
