I really liked this and thought it a worthy winner so well done on that . I think it is a very clever poem about the excuses that a child might come up with to try and explain why they cannot take a test.

this is a right on expression of childhood. I can only add that I have to take
two tests today( for school) and ( after a half a century) my feeling about than hasn't changed.

Thank you for your wonderful review and the extra star.

Creative - reminds me of Dr. Seuss for high school. I can picture a nervous student anticipating a test that he or she doesn't feel prepared. Most of us can relate or remember when we were in school having this feeling.

Love it! What a unique excuse for missing a test.
I think I frequently leave my brain at home, or the last place I was. LOL.
Good rhyme and meter, and kept me interested all the way. 8-)

Haha I enjoyed this piece because it is so easy for.me to relate to it. I'm not a student anymore but as a working professional, I oftentimes go to work asking myself why I forgot to place my brain in my skull. I no longer get angry when it doesn't want to play the adult game, rather I concede defeat and enjoy the day of being stupid hehe.
Well done.

Funny, Reminds me of every test i ever took in college. I tell people I graduated with a 3.50 average. That was my blood-alcohol level. I have not idea what my grades were.

Haha! Certainly brings back the childhood memories! Cute poem flows extremely well. I don't see anything that needs to be corrected. Good luck in the contest!

A cute, well-written contest entry. I think you completed the challenge of the contest well. Your words flowed easily line to line combining and forming the message of the poem for the reader.
