I was swept away by your dark scene. The artwork you selected established the mood well, and your imagery in the "effigy" and the movement of the "swing and sway" intensified the sensation, which reached a memorable conclusion on a "dying horizon". Well done! Best wishes in the contest- Joan

Incredibly deep and incredible imagery! I like the personification of dawn and the description used, "slips into an envelope"...the irony of early morning dawn as a "dying horizon"...it's the kind of work you study every nook and cranny just looking for something else, and something else....
