You have good alliteration with dark dreary, drops as diamonds, soothing and sometimes.

very nice consonance with gloom and some, sand and ground.

Wonderful simile: drench as tears down window panes

Your poem has a lot of good imagery and strong descriptive words, which I enjoyed reading.
