He hears my driving in the rain pleas, too. On sunny days and when I am not fighting traffic, I send up drive-by prayers. When I pass the home of someone I know, a church or a small business that needs customers I lift them up. I relate to all that you wrote. Keep the prayers and thanksgivings going up.

solid rhyming couplets
You deliver a thoughtful spiritual message by using the imagery of the rainbow, which God has used to convey messages since Noah's Ark :-) Brooke

This is a lovely verse full of faith and hope. It is nerve wracking to drive in a storm. But all one can do is relax and let God take care of us in those moments. Your rhyming is excellent and I love the picture you chose.

Also a friend of mine. It is funny how we seem to find little signs that brings us a little closer.
A rainbow in the rain can be so serene and calming, it is a wonder it seems like a minor miracle, accentuated by he rain.
Best wishes,
RGstar

We are never alone. I could almost see the white knuckles keeping a firm grip on the steering wheel. I used to think people didn't know how to drive in the snow, now I wonder if some of them should stay off the road when it rains. I live in Florida and though it's the sunshine state, we get quite a few afternoon thunder showers. Odd that it happens just as the kids are getting off the school bus. Great story. Thanks for sharing.

I live in Kissimmee, near Lake Toho. Maybe we should plan to get together some time. My husband has free passes to Disney. We can take up to three people in every day. We'll have to plan an outing, soon.
