It is the greatest of the gifts. We as followers of Christ are called to show love even to our enemies, not foolishly, but with a heart of forgiveness. Well written poem about tge greatest of the gifts, which in fact, was the reason God gave his only begotten son.

This brought to mind The Beatles' song, All You Need is Love.
"It holds no grudge, forgives all debt, and thus love's sun will never set."
We need that love in our world right now.

True love is not easy, for it is sacrificial, involves forgiveness, and models itself on Jesus. It's easy to talk about love but hard to offer - yet there is nothing the world needs more than love, and it can only find its source in God who is love.

There truly is no other option than to love. It should be the easiest thing we do and we make it so difficult. I pray that our country can find our way back to that. thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this reminder of the greatest commandment - to Love the Lord and the second, to love our fellow humans as we love ourselves. It's hard to remember when we are feeling bad about the world.
