So, they stuck you with the cats? I am confused. The hair -less animals creep me out. Some animals urine and feces will give off strong odors when they are upset. Lucky you. Have a good week. Karen

The cats finally went to the wife of the man training the Baghdad police. I picked them up in St Louis and took them straight to her house.

This is a funny story. It's so typical--everyone involved got sucked into a situation trying to be helpful, only to get punished for their good deed!
I would consider removing the part about being a true story from your notes. I had a story dq'ed for doing that exact thing with a flash FICTION (As it was pointed out to me). Maybe just say it was inspired by a true story.

LOL! Wow... I cannot imagine having to deal with such... and odor is just not welcome in any venue (especially when you've no 'attachment' to the animals....eeeeww). Certainly a lively offering for the contest here! ;) Thanx for sharing (I think...?) and best of luck! ;)
