Well here it is Saturday night and I haven't spent any time with Van story. I know shame on me. I probably should be kicked out. Lol I just stopped by to see if I could see a few of the very very best and this is one of them. Thanks for Sharing, sister!

Good Morning, Debi
Thank you so much for this very fine birthday poem! You mentioned so many things... like my mother leaving me on the hospital bed when I was born back in 1950 (so long ago!). Thank goodness the nurse reminded her.
You mentioned my walking trail in Grand Bay, and playing guitar at church. You wrote about my province of New Brunswick and how I love seafood. Scallops fried in butter! Love them.
My favorite lines,
"I'm proud to say this man is loved by everyone he knows,
And with his lovely wife, Judy, they'll snuggle when it snows."
I have to say, I feel special... even though it's my 39th N0-BIRTHDAY! LOL.
And I so appreciate all the folks that have reviewed your poem, and wished me a Happy No-Birthday, too.
Now, on to making a turkey soup for my wife's supper tonight! With warm buttered rolls!

This is a very nice poem and some great music for Father Flaps. He lives in a great place with long winters for snuggling. He is doing a great job of walking at his age. Wish I was so inspired.
