Hi, Carol, I loved that scene between Donatelli and Jenna. I do hope much more will come of it. Well see, and I can't wait to catch up with more of your writing. I'm behind as per usual. Hugs, Ulla xx

No, Harry, regardless of how hard we work, there always seems there is more to do. I am retired and there still is work to do. I appreciate you as always.

It's about time Jenna and Donatelli got together for more than a discussion about murder. They are attracted to each other, so it makes sense to explore a deeper relationship. Jenna has not suspicion about Patti, although the same could not be said for Donatelli.

I thought so too! I believe it will be a major focus in book 3...not saying it will be an easy ride...how could it be with Donatelli and (me writing it of course) lol. Appreciate the review and your thoughts.

I really laughed at the scene with Eleanor and Jenna, particularly when Eleanor was putting pressure on Jenna to ask Matthew out, I could just imagine how Jenna must've been feeling. Another excellent, entertaining read, Carol. I enjoyed reading it.

Don't just love Eleanor? When I first started writing this series...I almost stopped because I didn't think I could write a ghost story. But once I decided it was fiction and I could write it as I saw it...like Eleanor and her humor... I've fallen in love.

I figured you would put some romance into this story. It sounds like Jenna likes this guy. Now I'm wondering what Patti is up too. Having a invisible ghost around isn't easy for someone trying to get away with something.

Patti is looking for trouble and yes, I believe Donatelli might have found him a woman...a budding romance any how. He'll carry it over into the next book...which I can't wait to get rolling.
Thabks as always, Beth. Smiles, Carol

I enjoyed this chapter very much. It's good to see Donatelli's other side and the prospective romance with Jenna. Patti B is someone to watch though - she's not as innocent as she tries to make out, even if she's not guilty of murder exactly. Well written.

I think we are about to find the softer side of Donatelli.. .though in the next book he still will have a rocky road ahead of him. Appreciate the review as always.

No matter what the story, you always manage to throw a little romance in to keep us readers wishing and hoping for a little something sweet. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

There he is...How are you?
Yes, a little romance never hurt anyone...and besides it's a lead in toward the next series of this story...

Throughout this novel and your previous two, you excel in character development. No two characters are alike. Even though they are both ghosts, Eleanor and Danni are so different in more ways than age and experience. Garth, Matthew, and even Angelo have totally different personalities. They are so developed, the reader can almost guess how each will respond to new information about the case.
Now that Jenna and Matthew have had dinner together, I already know they will cautiously advance their relationship. I love reading about a budding romance that even surprises the participants.
Now, let's see what Patti is up to, and how she gets out of the mess she is in.

It's interesting as to whether you mention ages, I can't recall you saying those particular things, but age makes a difference when romantic liaisons are happening, Like Jenna and Donatello, I never really knew how old Garth or his offsides are, there could be huge gaps, but Jenna likes Donatello, beautifully Written Carol, blessings Roy

In my mind, I have the three as being about the same age...maybe in their early 40's...since Jenna is Eleanor's daughter and she had her in her very early twenties.... I think that would sound about right...What do you think?
I hope Donatelli can lose that chip on his shoulder and become the nice guy he use to be...especially for Jenna's sake... In series three... they both are going to need the right people around them. Thanks again, Roy.

An interesting perspective, too old to have children probably.
