I love the clear coherent message in this poem and that it concludes on a really strong word. I found myself pausing after the word truth and did think it could have a full stop there as you seem to be making a new point after that. But it's clever use of the nonet structure and the way you've set it out enhances that. A great example of the form

There are parts of the Bible that I love. I understand them and try to live by them. But then there are parts that are totally confusing and see to make no sense. This was good advice to carry the word of God with you in your heart. Greychen
