Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I enjoyed reading. I can see why this mom wants this child to get exercise. Obesity is a huge problem with our today's children and Americans in general.

This is excellently illustrated and presented. It captures the moment , but more than that, it dies so in a way that is relatable, especially when you are dealing with children

Aww this is so sweet but I don't think he's ever going to get slim as long as he associates the one with the other. And he's going to be dipping into the rice all the way home. This reminds me of a dog training programme I was watching today where the only way the owners could get their overweight, 13 stone Newfoundland dog to exercise was by giving it a piece of lemon drizzle cake!! The trainer said that the cake was counterproductive and they might just as well leave the dog at home without exercise! Thank you for sharing your amusing senryu about the quirks of human nature. I love this funny picture. Your Senryu is good and amusing. I guess this ways mother and son both get exercise. All that rice won't too much to get the cubby son back in shape.
