You ended on a big cliffhanger. Well done, Jacob. I was all amped up, hoping to find out what happened, but in the back of my mind, I knew it wouldn't be this chapter. Great description and build-up, my friend.

Good cliffhanger stopping point. Those keep people reading also. It would be rather strange to see your brother for the first time after 20 years. She was so young when he was taken away. They don't really know each other at all.

I really enjoyed reading this! You share Danielle's emotional journey and her internal struggle so well. The way you capture her anxiety is impressive. The tension and atmosphere you've created around the prison visit are so real. I'm eager to see how her encounter with Harvey unfolds. Excellent job sharing her thoughts and feelings - it really drew me in.

This is was a good chapter and it was a bit longer and has finaly got us tot he prison where hopefully more details will be comeing out. Maybe she will find out why he killed his parents.

This is an excellent chapter as Danielle's journey builds up to the actual meeting with her brother. Her tension and nervousness are palpable and I almost find myself biting my own lip. Danielle knows so little and the time span has been a significant one. Hopefully she can start to get the answers she craves. Thanks for sharing this enjoyable read. Debbie

I've decided that Jeremiah might be a priest or something similar. I don't think he is a threat to them. But of course, you've left me hanging as Danielle still waits to talk to Harvey. Great job, my friend. Pins and needles!!!
