I am really glad they didn't hurt the dragon too much. After all he is a rare species. I'm not sure I understand all the pulleys and ropes, but it isn't necessary to understand just enjoy their success if they do steal some of the dragon's gold. Can he be left some of the treasure, so he thinks it is all there? After all, he must have spent a good part of his life collecting it and deserves some compensation and comfort nesting on his gold?

Yes, we leave him a nest of sorts.

Such a complicated procedure to go through, just for a king's ransom of treasure! I would have given up before I even started. Glad your characters are made of sterner stuff. Sorry I'm out of sixes.

I like how you always make sure that May has a key part in the resolution of the scrapes your Ohmie and Blado get into. I did like how Ohmie used ventriloquism to fool the dragon. I liked your philosophical statement that "Enlisting the dragon to voluntarily give over his wealth seemed to the four to be more than they could reasonably expect of any creature: animal, or human."

Thank you!
I'm afraid greed does not easily cure.

It look for a while as thing might not be working but in the end it seems as if things worked. Even Princess May had a job to do and the silver and red was cut free from the ankle ties and they had the treasuse. Nice chapter.

Thank you. A little escapism once in a while is good for what ails you.

This chapter is thrilling and full of tension! You've done a great job of keeping me on edge! I was wondering whether Ohmie and the others would succeed in their plan. The action sequences are excellent. The way you describe Ohmie's frantic efforts to keep the ropes from breaking, the clever use of the dragon's own strength against him, and the coordination between the characters adds to the excitement. This was a fantastic chapter that kept me hooked and eager to see what happens next!

Thank you very much. I usually depend on dialogue, but sometimes you just can't.
