I am wondering, and there's no way to answer this question, how many last kisses have been shared before someone being sent off to war. War needs to stop. There are better ways to solve issues. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem and presentation with us.

I think this is a great tribute that acknowledges the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedom. There is never enough to be said.
My stepson is in the armed forces, and my stepfather was part of WWI British troops.

It's so sad when families are separated because of war. Sometimes, it's not just to go into battle. Some have to leave the country and they don't even know when they might see each other again. Sigh.
