I like how it is a mini story told in poetic form. It has a clear beginning, progression and ending. It also conveys emotions .The illustrating photo fits it well.

The picture you chose is certainly eye-catching and a creative interpretation of your line. Ending on the word "one" was nicely done. The syllable count is a little off, I think. You have 10-9-8-7-5-5-4-3-2-1. Shouldn't one of those lines have 6 syllables? Other than that, a lovely poem.
