Patricia,
Excellent poem about worrying. In my life I found being a worry-wart was useless. Things have a way of working out.
Have a great Thursday.
Best wishes,
Cindy

That is very true. We all worry a little too much at times. We really need to put it away. I like your words and caption. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a great evening,

A good piece of advice but how many of us can truly pack up our worries, shove them in the closet and forget them? They always find away of sneaking back into our thoughts.

That's so true, Patricia. Worry robs us of our peace and contentment, but sometimes it sneaks up and takes hold. Good advice in this poem Patricia, well done.
Cheers

Yes. Totally agree your assessment. Just put worry aside and leave it behind. I always look at the bright side. Perhaps you can use a word that is similar to "worry" in the fourth line: distress.
Well done.

Definitely sage advice, but it's not always easy to follow, right? And as every Jewish Mommie will tell you (myself, included): A day without Worry means you simply did not try hard enough! We are taught from a young age that if you don't worry about them, bad things will happen! During the month of May, right before my students' piano Recital, if I tell them, "You are on my Worry List," they know they better buckle down AND HOW!!
Very cute poem; I enjoyed reading it very much! xo

I think you're right that we worry too much. I like your description of worry as an evil thief, robbing us of peace and time. However, worry can keep you on your toes so you'll be prepared. For instance, you may worry about how you'll do on an exam, so you study harder. As the saying goes, "Prepare for the worst and hope for the best." judi
