My friend Mary has most recently passed. She was my best best friend. She and I used to joke about if we were looking for a relationship by going on those dating sites we would have to ask for someone that was close to 80. Mary probably would have had to ask for someone 90. That's so funny. Hi Jim,
This is a good free verse about a short lived love affair that one wants to revive. It doesn't seem he has much hope of it happening though. But one never knows with love.

This is a beautiful poem, and it's so sad. Lost love is so painful, grieving for a person who still loves and breathes but without you in their lives. I'm sure love will come a knocking once again. Well done and Best wishes
