You correctly described the dying love by using roses as metaphor and ABC poem as a form. Roses will dry up first and still stay together for a long time. So your love may not be dead yet. Or you can start fresh.

Well done.

Wow. I thought this was so creative! The idea of losing petals captures love's decline in such a unique way. Your choice of words creates an emotional landscape. I could feel the weight of each line as the rose loses its vitality. Again, so creative and so well written!

    Hi Michael,
Thank you so much for the compliment and the 5 star review, yes the poem reflects the destruction effect of the loss of love, that i compared to a dying rose, that wasn?t watered anymore and left behind, i am glad you enjoy my poems. God bless You :) Sarah

This ABC poem, Petals, has the proper formatting and makes the metaphorical comparison, perhaps, with a relationship and its odds of survival.

I feel the placement of the guiding letters in the front of each line is distracting and unnecessary.
